Bad Grampa

Bad Grampa is one of the original old skool ravers from way back in 1990, he started his music journey going to clubs like Golddiggers, Brunel Rooms, Enzos, Q Club and Kinetic to name a few. He instantly fell in love with the music and the underground scene and always wanted to be involved in it somehow, then back in 1993 he met a DJ (Whitman) who introduced him into the art form of mixing and beat matching. With lots of lessons and hours spent he finally got the hang of it. At the same time as this steep learning curve, he also met a Radioactive FM pirate radio DJ, Sible, who quickly escalated the learning and beat matching skills. Shortly after this, BG started his own family so packed the decks away for 15 years to focus on the important things in life, but the music never left him and as soon as the kids had grown up, out came the decks and he started to practice again. DJ Sible had moved away at this point but never stopped hassling BG to get on the radio and eventually it worked and BG did his first live set. 6 years later he's still playing every other weekend, throwing down his deep dark underground sounds and high energy in Drum & Bass, Jungle, Breakbeat and liquid, helping keep the underground scene alive and kicking!
