About Kazza K.
Swedish-Zambian and Lusaka-based, with a passport full of rhythms.
I grew up in Zambia, then spent 17 years in London, where I found my people in grassroots music and sound system culture. For nearly a decade, I was part of a jungle Sound System crew, immersed in London's underground music scene. From there, I joined a DnB dance crew, which took me to huge festival stages like Boomtown and the Isle of Wight. Performing to thousands of ravers deepened my connection to the physical and spiritual power of music.
I've always been a dancer first. Long before I got behind the decks, I was learning music through movement - studying its rhythms, accents and phrasing through choreography. That instinct to connect with music physically, to understand how it moves and where it wants to go, is still at the heart of how I play.
I only stepped behind the decks after moving back to Zambia, bringing years of dancefloor experience and a head full of sounds with me. For now, expect Afro house, tribal rhythms and eclectic electronic grooves. But Night Tribe isn't about staying in one lane. It's about following the rhythm wherever it leads.
Broadcasting from Lusaka, with summers back in the UK for festival season, I'm bringing two worlds together, one set at a time.
